An independent media service
Cornell Alleged is operated as an anonymous independent collective. It is not affiliated with Cornell University or any other university. We present attributed public reporting separately from consented reader accounts. Case allegations, institutional responses and court findings have distinct labels; a reader post is not a determination of guilt.
The site is currently privately accessible. A shared URL does not grant access to someone outside its allowed audience. These terms do not change the current private viewing audience, initiate a payment or enable a secure evidence-upload service.
Use and service limits
This is not an emergency service, a law firm or a counseling service. Reading a legal-support request or sending an inquiry does not create legal representation, establish eligibility, reserve funding or guarantee prosecution. A qualified professional must assess legal questions in the relevant jurisdiction.
Do not send confidential evidence, privileged communications, identity documents or sensitive files through these forms. The dedicated evidence channel is not open. Find confidential support resources if that better fits your needs.
Your material and your choices
Describe what you experienced, witnessed or were told accurately, and distinguish those sources. Share only material you are entitled to provide. Leave out private addresses, other people’s contact details, handles and identifying information about survivors. A detailed account does not need graphic descriptions.
Consent to private review and consent to edited public sharing are separate. Choosing public sharing permits the collective to review, redact and display the consented edited account on this site. It does not guarantee publication or permit publication of your private email or raw account. Support is never a condition of being heard.
Review, corrections and withdrawal
Human reviewers can request clarification, edit identifying details or decline publication. Technical validation and access controls do not decide the editorial outcome. A reviewer can leave a private explanation in the receipt portal; response times and outcomes are not guaranteed.
Keep your receipt and private key to check the decision or withdraw the retained record. Withdrawal removes the linked publication here but cannot remove copies or screenshots elsewhere. For a factual issue in a sourced news record, use Corrections & right of reply. Publication of public information does not eliminate legal risk or the need for careful review.
Responsible participation
Threats, harassment, invented accusations, impersonation, doxxing and attempts to identify anonymous contributors are not acceptable. The same applies to targeting someone because of a family relationship, or organizing intimidation through this site. Criticism should concern documented conduct and keep relevant context visible.
Sources and contextual images retain their stated credits and licenses. Do not treat a campus photograph or illustration as evidence. Illustrations do not document real incidents. Published accounts require consent and editorial review; case reporting must stand on verifiable sources.
Support and order inquiries
The shop and donation forms request human follow-up. They do not charge you, place an order, verify a transfer or issue a tax receipt. Bank wire and cryptocurrency are the available methods for email follow-up; receiving instructions are communicated privately after the team confirms your request. Prices, fulfilment and applicable cancellation terms must be agreed before any future transaction. Read the funding and merchandise notice.
