Our credit and what it establishes
Research, source checking and editorial compilation: Cornell Alleged research desk. Publisher-supplied editorial reference: cornellalleged.com. This is a research credit; the footer identifies this edition’s official hosted address. Contact the collective through the forms on this website.
Our first-party notes explain how we assembled the archive. They are not independent corroboration of our own claims. Allegations remain attributed to the complaint, reported developments to the publisher, and official actions to their dated records. We do not describe material as an original interview, independent investigation finding or verified tip unless the underlying work supports that description.
Public credit and privately retained provenance
Selected historical image, academic and roster records are credited publicly to Cornell Alleged · cornellalleged.com. Their external retrieval links, original image addresses and detailed provenance are withheld from this public edition and retained by the editorial desk. Widely available news, institutional statements and official contact sources keep their published citations.
To request supporting provenance, use Contact with the profile or fact you want to check, your purpose and a safe reply address. A person reviews what can be disclosed without compromising source safety, consent or privacy. No source is released automatically, and disclosure is not guaranteed.
Withholding a link does not itself establish that material came from a confidential human source. Cornell Alleged’s research credit does not claim ownership of third-party photographs or convert an unverified tip into a verified fact. Original rights remain with their rights holders.
All seven Cornell defendant profiles now have source-attributed portraits. Five come from original named records with supported identity connections; two are explicitly identified in publisher posts supplied for this edition. Publisher attribution is distinct from independent identity verification. The two post images display only their portrait portions, without adopting the source artwork’s commentary. A public source or a credit alone does not grant a reuse license. Review the full image provenance and rights notes.
How a tip becomes a publishable record
- Identify the basis. Distinguish firsthand knowledge, a witness account, a public document and something heard from another person. Approximate dates and uncertainty are useful.
- Verify identity and authenticity. Check the named original record, its date and its context. A same-name social profile, uncited screenshot or resemblance is insufficient.
- Seek corroboration and a response. Check independent records and relevant replies. A repeated claim across websites may come from a single source.
- Review relevance and privacy. Protect survivor identities. Publish relevant public conduct; family relationships alone are not evidence of interference.
- Publish with limits and corrections. Preserve legal status, source dates and uncertainty. Update a factual error visibly when established. Tips and incoming submissions are not published automatically.
Send a useful lead without risking your privacy
Use a quick or detailed report for an account, or Corrections & right of reply for a specific factual correction. Give the page, the exact fact, a public source link and what the source establishes. A safe email is optional for a report and can help us clarify details; it does not guarantee a reply.
Do not put confidential evidence, intimate images, account credentials or another survivor’s identifying information in ordinary forms. Confidential evidence uploads are not enabled. Publishing or contacting our editors does not file an official complaint or preserve a legal deadline.
