News review · 11 October 2026
New York time (EDT). Reporting searches and actual developments are dated separately.
Coverage
Cornell, LSU, Timberline, Penn State/Sandusky, Michigan State/Nassar, USC/Tyndall, Ohio State/Strauss, Columbia/Hadden, Dartmouth, UC Berkeley/Marcy, Michigan/Anderson and Virginia Tech/Brzonkala–Morrison; plus Pelicot, RG Kar, IICSA, DR Congo, Australia’s Royal Commission, Chile’s bishops and Burning Sun. Christopher Saunders’s separate Australian criminal case is also covered.
What changed
Cornell coverage adds the student-run concert cancellation, the latest Whitney Seals interview, reporting about mistaken identities and legal analysis of intoxication. Around the World adds the church leader’s response after Saunders’s sentence and an announced Pelicot-related production.
What a review establishes
Searches covered all twelve school and university records and eight named international cases or inquiries. Previously published sources retain their check dates. An unsuccessful search cannot establish that no later development exists. Older reports newly added to the archive retain their original publication dates.
This is selective reporting review, not exhaustive monitoring or a complete court-docket audit. Paywalls, sealed records and search coverage can leave gaps. No new Cornell criminal charge or verdict was established in the reviewed sources. Allegations, denials, advocacy, institutional responses and court decisions are distinct.
Privacy and corrections
